Privacy Policy
Notepad Calculator is an offline Android productivity app that combines notes and calculations. It does not require an account or use a developer-operated backend.
Data collection and sharing
Notepad Calculator does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data, device identifiers, note contents, calculations, or usage information. The app contains no advertising, analytics, telemetry, crash-reporting, account, or cloud-sync services.
Local app data
Page titles, page contents, settings, and calculation state are stored only in the app's local storage on your device. This information is used solely to provide the app's functionality and is not accessible to the developer.
Import and export
Export creates a JSON backup only when you request it. Android's system document picker lets you choose where the file is saved. Import reads only the backup file you intentionally select. The developer does not receive these files.
Data retention and deletion
Local data remains on your device until you delete pages, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. Exported backups remain wherever you saved them until you delete them.
Network access and third parties
The current release does not request Android network permission and does not send app data to the developer or third parties. Google Play may process information when you download or update the app under Google's own privacy policy; that processing is separate from Notepad Calculator.
Children's privacy
Notepad Calculator is a general-audience productivity utility and is not specifically directed to children. Because it does not collect personal data, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security
The app reduces privacy risk by keeping its content on the device and operating without a developer backend. You are responsible for securing your device and any backup files you export.
Policy changes
If a future release adds network services, advertising, analytics, accounts, cloud sync, or other data handling, this policy and the Google Play Data safety declaration will be updated before that release is distributed.
